T. works as a commercial photographer as well as supplying images for the tourist trade in the county. His business has not developed as rapidly as he hoped and, on the advise of a business mentor, he sought some coaching in business skills from a Cumbrian company. The nine coaching session covered aspects such as core business values, target setting, action planning etc and T. received a 75% grant from the partnership. Prior to attending the sessions T. felt that his business was at breaking point and was about fold. Although things are still difficult for him he is persevering. The course has helped him to reflect on what he is doing and why and he has directly implemented some of the recommendations. The longterm benefits of the coaching are not yet clear to him but the support from CCSP at a critical time in his business was greatly valued. Grant £750. |
